Tanuki Studio is a small craft studio. This policy covers the little data the site collects — your email, if you choose to share it, and anonymous site analytics — and what you can do about it.
When you enter your email to receive a free pattern or studio notes, Tanuki Studio stores it with our email provider, Kit, solely to send you the file you requested and occasional updates. Kit may record whether an email is opened or a link clicked, which helps us gauge what's useful. We never sell or share your email, and we keep it only until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and always on — it measures aggregate page traffic without setting any tracking cookies or identifying individual visitors. When you arrive from a tagged link (for example, a pin or a newsletter), we also record that source in aggregate, without cookies, so we can see which content brings people in.
If you click "Allow" on the cookie banner, the site also loads Google Analytics 4, which sets analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to help us understand which content people enjoy. This analytics data is collected and processed by Google under its privacy policy. Clicking "No thanks" means Google Analytics is never loaded and none of those cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser and can be changed at any time by clearing this site's data.
Links to other sites
Some links lead off-site — to Pinterest, to Instagram, and occasionally to a product listing elsewhere. Those services have their own privacy policies, which govern anything you do once you leave tanukistudio.co.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, which removes your address from our list. To ask what we hold about you, or to have your data deleted, email [email protected].
